A Tender Kiss
Since Wednesday London has been enjoying a mini-Spring-headwave – we’ve being having twenty degree blue skies. Concerning the traditional April Showers; well they’ll likely turn up in July and August.
Now onto the photo of the day. It is easy to say this is my favourite image in months. There’s so many elements to the image that just make it a close to perfect photo. There’s the moment before the kiss – that raw love in each person as they come together before parting ways. I don’t know how long for, but the affection shown in the faces of the couple suggests it’s a long time.
Then, there’s the bag, the ‘I Don’t’ – a hidden message perhaps, a cruel undertone for the future – who knows. I love the framing, composition, the way it works in B&W. The hands, the eyes, it’s a complete shot.
